Fee Information: The College charges a range of fees, primarily Home and Overseas student fees. Under 19s assessed as Home students, do not pay the course fees, we only charge a £20 enrolment fee which is refunded if you complete your course. Home students over 19 undertaking their First Full Level 2 (equivalent to 5 GCSE A-C) or their First Full Level 3 (equivalent to BTEC National or 2 ALevels) will be charged £20 enrolment fee plus any examination fees. For Home students over 19 receiving certain state benefits, the £20 enrolment is charged and not refundable. In all other instances, you will be charged the Home-EU or Overseas Fee.

Entry Requirements

Formal qualifications are not essential: basic communication skills, interest in motor vehicles and the ability to carry out practical tasks.

About the course:

The course aims to provide you with the skills required for basic vehicle servicing and covers the main systems of the vehicle: Lubrication, Cooling, Electrics, Brakes, Fuel . Training and practical assessments take place in the motor vehicle workshop. Course details Course length: 1 term starting in September, January and April at Acton

You could continue studying a basic in Motor Vehicle Servicing & maintenance course to improve your prospects of employment in the motor industry or seek a training place in the motor industry.
