Fees indicated are based on the current year (August 2016 to July 2017) and are subject to change next year.
Our further education courses (Entry to Level 3) are usually free if you are 16-18 years old. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for financial support to help with other costs associated with your course such as course materials and travel.
If you are aged 19 or over you may be required to pay fees.
If you are enrolling onto a Level 3 or 4 course and are over 19 years of age the fees may be higher and you will be required to take out an Advanced Learning Loan, please see the guide to fees for more information.
International students will be required to pay the full International course fee.

This professional course will help develop your knowledge and skills in Business administration. You will study approximately 10 units which include written business communication, career planning in administration, communicating with customers, team working etc. Although this is a level 2 qualification you will also study some level 3 units to help develop you in preparation for progression onto a higher course.
2-4 GCSEs grade A*-D (including English); or functional or key skills awards in English at Level 1; or Foundation Learning Level 1 Certificate; or BTEC Level 1 Diploma; or pre-access level 1 qualification; or NVQ 1 or equivalent.
You will sit an assessment to ascertain your level of English at enrolment. You will need to demonstrate that you are operating at level 1 at least.
You will be assessed continuously throughout the course. You will be set unit assignments which may include role plays, practical assessments, written reports, case studies or professional discussions.
Your units will be graded pass or fail.
You could progress onto a BTEC Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Business or alternatively you could go straight into employment such as office administration, retail, marketing or customer services. This qualification will also enable you to progress onto a L2 or L3 apprenticeship programme.
You will be taught by qualified teachers with industry experience. You will learn in dedicated classrooms using IT based equipment. You will also gain exposure to business organisations through external visits, guest speakers and attending business exhibitions.
The College offers welfare services to provide support and guidance whenever it is needed. The College's Learning Resource Centre provides excellent facilities for private study and includes access to computers, an extensive library and quiet study areas.
Mode of attendance: three days a week.
