Fees indicated are based on the current year (August 2016 to July 2017) and are subject to change next year.
Our further education courses (Entry to Level 3) are usually free if you are 16-18 years old. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for financial support to help with other costs associated with your course such as course materials and travel.
If you are aged 19 or over you may be required to pay fees.
If you are enrolling onto a Level 3 or 4 course and are over 19 years of age the fees may be higher and you will be required to take out an Advanced Learning Loan, please see the guide to fees for more information.

This course is just right for CIW Site Development Associate provides an introduction to tasks, job roles and careers in Web development. Throughout the course, you will learn how websites are developed as managed projects. This course will teach you to work as a productive part of a website development team.
This course is ideal for any entry-level and more experienced professionals who work in the fields of Website design, e-Commerce and graphic design, as well as entrepreneurs who want to be able to develop and manage their business online.
CIW Site Development Associate is an internationally recognised qualification. It teaches you essential web page development skills. CIW stands for Certified Internet Web Professional. Through this course, you will gain experience in the following subjects:
- Hyperlinks, Web forms and tables;
- Site design with GUI HTML Editors;
- Site design for mobile devices;
- Image, audio and video editing;
- Web techniques for business;
- Search Engine Optimisation.
Literacy level L2 minimum. Have completed the L2 iTQ qualifications. If not, your prior knowledge will be checked at interview.
The CIW Site Development Associate course is designed for beginners but a basic knowledge of computers and the Internet is recommended. Students should also be familiar with the Microsoft Windows operating system before taking this course as it does not provide entry-level computer literacy.

In class and project work including approximately 50 hours of independent study. You will learn in dedicated IT suites with the latest software and equipment. This course is offered at Hammersmith & Fulham College over 2 days (10 hours) for 18 weeks.
