Fees indicated are based on the current year (August 2015 to July 2016) and are subject to change next year.
All our further education courses (Entry to Level 3) are free if you are 16-18 years old. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for financial support to help with other costs associated with your course such as course materials and travel.
If you are aged 19 or over you may be required to pay fees.
If you are enrolling onto a Level 3 or 4 course and are over 24 years of age the fees may be higher and you will be required to take out a 24+ loan, please see the guide to fees for more information.
International students will be required to pay the full International course fee.

If you want to develop the technical skills employers need today, our web design courses are just right for you. Gain the skills you need to break into the industry as a web designer or develop a website for your social or business use. Topics such as web page layouts, navigation, HTML and getting your websites online are amongst some of the topics covered with tutor led teaching, supplemented by online resources. With cloud technology rapidly evolving, learners will also be introduced to google applications.
The City & Guilds iTQ L1 Certificate for IT Users is an excellent way to develop your confidence in using various features of software applications that can help you improve the quality of your work and provide excellent skills required to get into employment, or develop the skills for personal use or for your studies. Units covered on the course include:
- Improving productivity using IT
- Desktop Publishing
- Imaging software for use on your web designs
- Web Design software – Dreamweaver
- Social media such as linking Facebook to web design and Google docs
Literacy and numeracy level L1 minimum. Start IT or similar qualification subject to interview.
In class assessments and portfolios.
After successful completion of this level 1 course, you will have the opportunity to progress into employment or to the next level of the same course (L2).
In class learning and independent study. You will learn in dedicated classrooms and IT labs with the latest software and equipment. This course is offered at Hammersmith & Fulham College over 3 days (16 hours a week) for 6 weeks.
