Ealing Institute of Media
The Ealing Institute of Media (EIM) offers students of all ages and backgrounds a unique opportunity to learn the skills required to succeed in the competitive Creative Industries. Benefit from our new, state-of-the-art training facility, which builds on the solid tradition of high achievement already established at Ealing & West London College and the reputable media heritage that has existed in Ealing for years.
EIM is a Skillset Screen Academy - a stamp of quality from Skillset, the Sector Skills Council for the audio visual industries, which classify EIM as one of a select few educational providers in the country to meet the highest standards of education and skills development programmes for future workforces in the media and design industries.
All of our courses aim to equip students with the optimum mix of theoretical and practical knowledge that will not only provide them with a recognised qualification, but will supply them with the valuable skills that the media and design industries demand. In order to ensure that we always teach the skills that are of most value to employers and the industry at the time, we run an Employers Forum in which we consult professionals in the Creative Industries about our course curriculum. Our close connections with employers, including the world-famous Ealing Studios, The BBC and Thames Valley University also provide opportunities for students to benefit from master-classes and careers advice from real people on the job.
Several talented students may also get the chance to take part in limited work experience placements. So, if you are interested in Animation, Film, Graphic Design, Media, Multimedia, Photography, TV, or Video and want to train with the latest equipment in purpose-built classrooms in an institution with its finger on the pulse of the industry, then this is the place for you.
