Supported Learning

The Supported Learning division at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College runs programmes for learners with a variety of severe, moderate and profound learning difficulties and disabilities, including Autism, Asperger Syndrome, challenging behaviour, mental health issues and physical disabilities, across three main sites and 12 community venues. We strive to meet the diverse needs of our students from the outset by acknowledging their goals and aspirations and conducting effective initial and continuous assessments. We offer personalised learning programmes, delivered through realistic working environments, which embed essential skills and ILT in a creative and imaginative way.

Our focus on employability is reflected in the following retail outlets run by our learners: Routes: Education to Employment at our Hammersmith site, Occasions shop at our Acton site, The Orange Jug at our Southall site, Café on the Hill (in association with the West London Mental Health Trust) in Ealing Hospital and Scene on the Green in Norwood Green.

We are committed to providing education of the highest quality for everyone and believe that everybody has the potential to study, whatever their ability or background.
