This is a full time course for learners aged 16-18 who have English as a second language. This course is designed to prepare you for further study or work.

ESOL Levels range from Pre-Entry to Pre-GCSE Level 1, as well as Maths from FS Entry 1 to GCSE. You will take a Trinity College London ESOL examination and FS Edexcel/GCSE Maths. This course is a one year programme and you will have classes 15 hours a week, three days a week.

For Entry 3 students, there are Vocational Tasters for 2 hours per week that include the following areas; Building and Construction, Service Industries, Community Services, Sports & Public Services.

Enrichment areas include careers, work experience, trips, clubs, Student Union and events, including fundraising events.

Bursaries and Free School Meals are also available (subject to meeting criteria).

There is also dedicated support for LAC ( Looked After Children).

Study methods

This is a full time day programme. You will learn in dedicated classrooms, some will have access to computers for self-study, project work and class work.

Entry requirements

You will have an entrance test in English and Maths. This will include some writing, and you will also have an interview with one of the lecturers.

Course assessment

You will have exams in English and Maths.
