School Leavers (16-18)

School Leavers (16-18)

If you’re currently in Year 10 or Year 11 and looking for what to do next, West London College can help you succeed. We offer a large variety of courses that can help you achieve your goals – including practical work-based vocational courses (including BTEC, UAL and City & Guilds, from Entry Level through to Level 3), T Levels and apprenticeships.

Studying at college is very different from staying at school or going to a sixth form – you are treated as an adult and supported to manage your studies, so you’re ready for university or work. Whether you’re joining us straight from studying GCSEs, or you’ve spent time elsewhere, we have created a support system to help you succeed on your course, whatever your situation.

At WLC, we welcome thousands of students every year and have a vibrant, supportive community for you to join. If you’re not sure what you’d like to study, we offer free, impartial careers advice and guidance – find out more here.

Why not come to an open day and check out our facilities for yourself, or if you already know what you’d like to study, find out more about how to apply.

Study Programmes at West London College

If you’re aged 16, 17 or 18, you’ll get more than just your chosen course at West London College. We will create a study programme, designed specifically for you, which consists of your main qualification, employability skills and relevant work experience.

Our study programmes combine your course with work experience opportunities and the chance to develop skills with tutorials and extracurricular activities. The aim is to equip you with the versatility and experience needed to adapt to life after college, whether that be at university or in employment.

Our study programmes ensure you receive:
– Your main qualification
– The opportunity to undertake work experience
– Tutorial time, study skills and enrichment activities

If you don’t already have GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths, you will also study these as part of your study programme.
