In addition to studying at the same time as training and competing you will have many additional benefits from being an academy player to develop your playing ability, fitness levels and career prospects.
You will:
- Train with QPR coaches as a professional would, using excellent training facilities both on and off site.
- Play as a QPR academy player in the British Colleges Sport elite league.
- Be coached and scouted by staff that have the highest coaching qualifications and have links to many London Clubs.
- Receive specialist coaching from professional goalkeeper coaches at Queens Park Rangers.
- Play pre-season friendly matches against the QPR youth team academy.
- Study a range BTEC, NVQ and VRQ qualifications in football and sport ( development, coaching and fitness).
- Wear the playing and training kit of Queens Park Rangers FC .
- Gain FA coaching qualifications, first aid qualifications and sports leaders qualifications.
- Gain work experience and paid employment within the football industry

Football Trials
When you have complete an application form you will be invited to attend a trial at the Linford Christie Stadium, Du Cane Road, London W12 0DF.
Trial Dates
11am to 1pm
Wednesday 30 May
Wednesday 13 June
Wednesday 27 June
Trials will be immediately followed by an interview at 3pm on the same day.
Please turn up with full playing kit. You will have to complete a college application form before you take part. You can alternatively contact our Course Information Centre who will book you in for a trial.
