Key information for Graduation day
Where and When is the Ceremony held?
Venue: Olympia London, Hammersmith Road, Kensington,
London, W14 8UX
Date: Thursday 17 November 2016
What happens on the day?
You should arrive by 11:00 am - 11:30 am for gown fitting and your guests no later than 12:30 pm. If you and your guests wish to be professionally photographed, we recommend you arrive together so this can be done before the ceremony begins. Students when arriving at the venue, will be given a numbered card which is your allocated seat for the afternoon. Once gowned, you can take your seat. Please remember that you and your guests will not be seated together during the event. If you are bringing children, please try to arrive early. This would help us allocate an aisle seat with easy access to the exit. The Ceremony will commence at 1:00 pm and we estimate it will run until 3:00 pm. Light refreshments will be provided between 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Is there Disabled Access?
Can I bring more than two guests?
Can my guests take photographs during the Ceremony?
We ask that guests remain seated during the Graduation Ceremony, so that they do not block the view of any other guests at the Ceremony. Professional photographs are available to purchase through Graduation Attire. Guests are free to take photographs before and afterwards.
Do I receive my award certificate on the day? What if I already have mine, should I bring it with me?
As some examining bodies send out their award certificates directly to successful candidates, it would be unfair to hand out some certificates and not others. Award certificates are either posted to the candidate directly from the Examinations office at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College or from the examining body. The certificate that you receive on the night is to acknowledge your attendance and congratulate you on successfully completing your chosen programme of study. If you receive your official certificate in advance of the Ceremony, you will not need to bring it with you to Graduation.
What should I wear?
As Graduation is a formal occasion, we recommend you dress in smart attire, preferably a shirt with buttons. The hood for your gown also needs to be attached to a top button or tie so a dress with buttons would be suitable for women and shirt/tie for men. If this is not possible, we may be able to attach your hood using safety pins.
What if my plans change – can I cancel my booking?
