Representatives from Supa Network’s Digital Skills Training UK visited Hammersmith & Fulham College to deliver digital skills workshops in partnership with Facebook to help students enhance their online presence and build on their digital skills. The event was organised by the Learning Centre and supported by the student services team and saw over 30 students from all college sites participate in three interactive sessions to develop their digital skills.
The students learnt tips to better promote themselves online, like how to be more attractive to employers and explored various topics including social media marketing, innovation and building a positive web presence.
Nissy Tee, Coach at Supa Network, led the workshops. She said: “I really enjoyed my time at West London College, it was a very productive day. All the students were engaged and invested in the sessions and realising their potential – it was a rewarding experience.”
Jacqueline Clarke, Learning Centre Manager, said: “The digital skills boot camp was beneficial to all learners because it allowed them to get tips from industry professionals to benefit their future careers and online presence.”
