West London College received the Mayor of London Inclusive Provider of Adult Education Award at the 2025 Adult Learning Awards, held last night at City Hall in East London.
The award recognises learning providers that have helped to make adult education more accessible for Londoners. WLC was honoured for its “outstanding commitment to inclusive, high-quality adult education across its three sites in Hammersmith, Ealing and Southall” noting that “equity, diversity, and inclusion sit at the heart of the college’s mission, and they provide life-changing opportunities for over 6,000 Londoners each year, creating a welcoming and empowering environment for individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.”
The Mayor of London Adult Learning Awards, now in their fourth year, have ten categories, which combined had over 252 nominations this year.
James Taylor, Deputy Principal Curriculum and Quality, and Steve Bishop, Director of Marketing and Student Recruitment, joined CEO and Principal Karen Redhead OBE at the ceremony.
