Differentiate yourself in a highly competitive marketplace and gain a qualification accredited by Europe’s largest HR development professional body – the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (www.cipd.co.uk).
We know that HR and training are rapidly changing, fluid professions that no longer operate in a silo in the business but instead demand that both the function and its people are aware of and can operate within the bigger picture. For that reason, it’s become even more important to commit to training and continuous professional development to ensure that you stay ahead of the competition.
Choosing the right level
If you are a HR or aspire to move into this area, then the foundation level qualification is perfect for you. We offer a foundation level qualification in HR Practice. The courses will enable you to acquire a wide range of practical skills in HR and gain associate membership with the CIPD and network with fellow professionals just like yourself who want to climb the ladder and make a real impact in the HR arena.
If you’re aiming to develop a career in HR management or have been working in the field and have no professionally recognised HR qualifications, then the intermediate level qualification is for you. We offer an intermediate level qualification in HR Management. The courses will help you develop your knowledge and skills in creating and implementing HR policies and strategies, give you a broader perspective of how HR fits into (and is impacted by) the wider organisational and environmental context and enable you to gain associate membership with the CIPD.
We recognise that our students are busy professionals, so our programmes are offered as once a week evening study, weekend (1 to 2 Saturdays a month) using our unique blended learning approach to help you achieve your qualification. We can help you tailor a programme of study that meets your individual needs and helps you to ensure that you are successful. This means that you can choose to study for a full certificate or diploma attending college weekly or monthly.
Our blended learning programmes means that you will spend time in the classroom, learning new skills and techniques, listening to guest speakers and industry experts and working through practical based exercises, activities and case studies with your fellow students. The remainder of the time is spent working through the blended learning programme, interacting with course materials and fellow students in a dynamic and forward thinking online learning environment using the latest technologies.
All of the taught aspects of the programmes take place at our Hammersmith & Fulham College.
