Facilities

As the largest of our Colleges, Hammersmith & Fulham College has even more excellent facilities to offer our students, for both academic and recreational purpose, than you would expect.

Restaurant
TASTE Restaurant, with a silver accreditation from People 1st and a Highly Commended Rosette from AA Hospitality, is our fully equipped professional kitchen and restaurant, fully staffed by our Hospitality & Catering students and open to the public for lunch during term time, Wednesday to Friday.

For an average cost of £6 for two courses, staff, students and members of the public can sample food prepared by the next generation of star chefs and hospitality professionals.

Canteen
The canteen serves hot and cold lunches, sandwiches, desserts, snacks and drinks. Food is freshly prepared on-site and prices are competitive. Starbucks Coffee is based in the canteen and serves a range of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks. The canteen is open throughout the day and into the evening to suit all class times.

Hair & Beauty Salon
Our commercial training salon and professional treatment rooms are where our Hair & Beauty students provide services to paying clients. The Salon is open to the public, staff and students and offers a wide range of treatments at attractive prices. Opening hours and a full price list can be found here.

Nursery
Just because you are parent, does not mean that you can't enrol on a course of study. We have an on-site, purpose-built nursery to provide a happy and secure environment for children to play and learn in. Places are available for children between two and five years old who have a parent studying at the College and also members of the public. Places, however, are limited and subject to applicants meeting the entry criteria. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. Common Room
Outside of classes you can unwind with friends in the Common Room, which is specifically for student use and is equipped with seating areas and various entertainment, such as table tennis and a pool table.

Contemplation Rooms
We have a quiet contemplation room for students and staff to use for mindfulness, contemplation, bereavement and faith activities. We recognise this can often be of fundamental importance to the wellbeing of students.

Careers Hub
The dedicated careers team want to inspire and inform you about a wide range of education, training and employment opportunities available to you after your course. We are focused on helping you achieve your career goals whether the next step is university, an apprenticeship, further training or employment.
