Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care Settings Level 2

About 300,000 patients develop an infection in England each year while being treated by the NHS. Protecting people from infection is an essential element of providing high quality care, especially considering the capacity some potentially life- threatening infections have to spread within care environments.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

You will need to be:. 
 - aged 19 (as of 31 August in the year before you want to start the course)
 - an EU/UK/EEA citizen (and have residency for at least 3 years)

You must not be enrolled on an apprenticeship when you start the course.

ASSESSMENT METHOD

You will complete an online portfolio of evidence which will include written tasks and essay style questions.
