Fees indicated are based on the current year (August 2016 to July 2017) and are subject to change next year.
Our further education courses (Entry to Level 3) are usually free if you are 16-18 years old. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for financial support to help with other costs associated with your course such as course materials and travel.
If you are aged 19 or over you may be required to pay fees.
If you are enrolling onto a Level 3 or 4 course and are over 19 years of age the fees may be higher and you will be required to take out an Advanced Learning Loan, please see the guide to fees for more information.
International students will be required to pay the full International course fee.

An advanced apprenticeship in Pâtisserie & Confectionary will help you gain the specialist skills you will need to produce a wide range of mouth-watering desserts. This qualification is ideal for someone with some catering experience but wishes to specilise for a career as a pâtisserie chef.
This qualification covers a range of units including:
- Prepare, cook and finish complex dishes using chocolate, cake, sponge, pastry, bread and dough
- Importance of food safety when storing, preparing and cooking
- Expertly use specialist equipment
- Productive working relationships with colleagues
Candidates must have a minimum of a Level 1 qualification in English and Maths as well as a Level 2 qualification in catering.
This qualification will be assessed through exams as well as practical and in work assessment.
This apprenticeship will be delivered through classroom and practical sessions in EHWLCs industry standard kitchens, one day each week during term time. Apprentices will be expected to self-study outside of the classroom and their working hours.
