Fees indicated are based on the current academic year (2019/20) and are subject to change next year.
For students under 19
Our courses & apprenticeships are usually free if you are 18 or under on the 31st of August 2019. Some courses have additional fees for things like materials and travel, which you will need to pay at the start of your course. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for financial support for these costs.
For students aged 19 or over
If you are aged 19 or over you may be required to pay fees. Some courses may be free, depending on your circumstances. Certain Level 3 & 4 courses require you to pay the fee in full or take out an Advanced Learning Loan to pay for your course. Please see our guide to fees for more information.
Students from outside the EU/EEA need to pay the full international fee for their course. Please note, West London College does not offer Tier 4 Visa Sponsorship for students to study in the United Kingdom.
This is an exciting intensive course that will offer learners who wish to progress in construction an opportunity to develop essential employability skills along with tasters in key trades.
You will also obtain the CSCS card and a number of construction related ‘tickets’ that are essential for securing a job or apprenticeship in the sector.
This course will help you develop a range of job-related and personal skills to pursue an entry job role within the construction sector.
Initial Assessment and Interview with a minimum of Entry 3 in maths and English.
The majority of the course is assessed through coursework, a mixture of in class assignment projects and presentations with the CSCS course being assessed through a controlled exam.
Learners who complete this course will be able to progress onto a Level 1 or 2 construction course or a level 2 Apprenticeship.
You will learn in the purpose built West London Construction Academy, which has industry standard workshops and practical environments and is in the heart of a fully operational construction site managed by the Berkeley Group.
Mode of attendance: three to four days a week for 6 weeks. You will also have to complete some independent work.
