Fees indicated are based on the current year (August 2016 to July 2017) and are subject to change next year.
Our further education courses (Entry to Level 3) are usually free if you are 16-18 years old. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for financial support to help with other costs associated with your course such as course materials and travel.
If you are aged 19 or over you may be required to pay fees.
If you are enrolling onto a Level 3 or 4 course and are over 19 years of age the fees may be higher and you will be required to take out an Advanced Learning Loan, please see the guide to fees for more information.
International students will be required to pay the full International course fee.

This qualification is for experienced or recently trained plumbers who wish to self-certify their own work in accordance with current legislation.
The course provides underpinning knowledge of the legal requirements for plumbing systems in the UK covered by Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Water Byelaws
You should have a minimum of two years plumbing experience/training.
Assessment is through an online examination which will be taken at the end of the 1 day training course.
After successful completion of the course you will be able to apply to your local water company to be an approved contractor, allowing you to self-certify your plumbing work and installations/alterations. On successful completion of the course and assessment, you will be eligible to join the WIAPS Approved Plumbers Scheme providing you hold other relevant certificates.
This is a classroom based course which will provide successful candidates with a nationally recognised qualification. A certificate of competence will be issued upon successful completion of the multiple choice assessment which covers background and legislation, materials and substances in contact with water, requirements for water fittings, water system design, installation commissioning, cross connections, black flow prevention, cold water services, hot water services, WCs and urinals, sanitary appliances and water for outside use.
