About this course

Whilst there are other qualifications available at the same level, for example the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce qualification, these contain both knowledge and skills units. This qualification however, contains knowledge only units which allows you to gain an introductory knowledge and understanding of childcare and education, parenting and babysitting before deciding whether working with children and young people is right for you. This qualification also supports progression if you wish to move onto other vocational qualifications such as the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce which contain skills.
