Hospitality & Catering

The College works with leading industry professionals to ensure our courses prepare you for this demanding and exciting career. Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, Brian Turner and Mark Hix have all worked with our students.

At Hammersmith & Fulham College, we have a 120 seat training restaurant, expert teaching staff and industry standard kitchens which are often used as filming locations for popular food shows such as Jamie’s Kitchen, Hell’s Kitchen and The Apprentice. Students are strongly encouraged to carry out work experience. As part of the work experience, our students have had the opportunity to work at Dorset Hotel, Radisson Blu Hotel Heathrow, BAFTA Piccadilly, Regent’s University London, Brilliant Restaurant and RAC Club.

As a College, we actively encourage and push our students to be the best they can be in their chosen field. This includes taking part in local and national competitions, as this provides students with unique challenges outside the classroom that help to challenge them and develop new skills.

In 2017, three of our catering students entered the prestigious Nestle Toque d'Or - here they are presenting their Beetroot Tartare with Summer Rolls dish.
