From reading a bank statement, calculating and comparing percentages in a sale, to planning your budget and making sure you get the right change, maths and numeracy skills are used throughout our everyday life. We offer a range of courses to help you develop the number skills you need – even if you’ve been out of education for a while.
Achieving a grade 4 at GCSE, is considered the minimum needed for many university courses, so if you are an adult (aged 19 or older) and you have not already achieved this, you can study GCSE maths for free. Functional Skills courses are also available, if you’re not ready for the GCSE.
If you are aged 16-18 and do not already have GCSE maths at grade 4 or above, it will be included in your study programme.
