Fees indicated are based on the current year (August 2016 to July 2017) and are subject to change next year.
Our further education courses (Entry to Level 3) are usually free if you are 16-18 years old. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for financial support to help with other costs associated with your course such as course materials and travel.
If you are aged 19 or over you may be required to pay fees.
If you are enrolling onto a Level 3 or 4 course and are over 19 years of age the fees may be higher and you will be required to take out an Advanced Learning Loan, please see the guide to fees for more information.

This is a Level-3 IT qualification with a focus on Digital Marketing; the use of digital media to attract and engage with current and potential customers, for example online advertising, email marketing, and search engine optimisation.
It is for you if you are interested in pursuing employment in this rapidly growing field. The course will allow you to develop your skills in cutting edge digital marketing techniques.
You will work using state of the art industry standard software during your course.
What is the course structure? To achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Digital Marketing, candidates must achieve 74 credits overall, from a range of mandatory and optional units.
The course is made up of individual units with focus on multiple aspects of Digital Marketing. The mandatory units will enable you to study particular areas of professional skill and knowledge in depth, supported by specialist units covering particular practical aspects of Digital Marketing.
Your Study Programme will include the main course, a weekly tutorial, work experience placement, employability skills development and English and Maths as required.

What subjects will I study? Mandatory units include:

- Principles of marketing and evaluation

- Principles of social media advertising and promotion
- Marketing on mobile devices
- Email marketing
- Principles of social media within a business
- Brand development
- Produce copy for digital media communication
- Spread sheet software
- Video software
- Imaging software
4 GCSEs grade A*- C (including Maths and English); or Level 2 Diploma in IT or equivalent. Successful completion of internal assessment is also required.
Student assessment is based on course work and portfolio completion (marked by your college teachers and verified by the awarding body).
Learners can progress onto a variety of Level 4 qualifications from IT and Marketing to Business and Digital Marketing. This can also lead to employment and higher level training or Degrees.
The course is usually timetabled over 4 days per week.
