Fees indicated are based on the current year (August 2016 to July 2017) and are subject to change next year.
Our further education courses (Entry to Level 3) are usually free if you are 16-18 years old. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for financial support to help with other costs associated with your course such as course materials and travel.
If you are aged 19 or over you may be required to pay fees.
If you are enrolling onto a Level 3 or 4 course and are over 19 years of age the fees may be higher and you will be required to take out an Advanced Learning Loan, please see the guide to fees for more information.
International students will be required to pay the full International course fee.

The AAT accounting qualification gives students the opportunity to gain the theoretical knowledge and practical accounting skills needed to carry out aspects of an accountancy related role. The course is delivered in different ways and can be started at two points in a given academic year (September and February).
This course is for you if you have an interest in Finance and Accountancy, and would like to gain higher qualifications and eventually pursue a career in this field. You should have a reasonable grasp of basic Mathematics and written English.

Following successful completion of this qualification, your progression will normally be to the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting.
To start this programme, you MUST demonstrate ability to benefit from the course and have literacy and numeracy skills at level 2. Exemptions from this requirement will be granted in exceptional cases where applicants can demonstrate prior knowledge or RELEVANT experience. Any exemptions are granted at our total discretion. In addition you may be required to pass an Entry Test to ensure your skills are at the necessary level to cope with the course.
Successful completion of this course is by passing a Computer Based Assessment.
Learners are entitled to 1 free re-sit for the whole level and will have to pay for all re-sits after that. Re-sits are £50 for each re-sit (this is to cover the AAT exam fee and our administration costs).
Learners who completed this course went on to apply for the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, and to follow this with Level 3 and 4 studies. You could continue your studies and gain a partial or full AAT Qualification.
Subject to further testing, you would be eligible to apply for the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, and possibly to follow this with Level 3 and 4 studies.
You could work in a junior capacity in a clerical or similar role.
You will learn in dedicated classrooms and computer rooms, and be taught by an experienced tutor. You can choose from one half day or evening session of 3 hours per week.
