West London College Sports Academy gives talented students the chance to pursue their sporting ambition while also completing a full-time qualification.
On a Sports Academy programme you will receive a minimum of 10 hours training per week from experienced coaches, as if you are part of a semi-professional club. With the College’s affiliations with local and national clubs, you will have exposure to physios, coaches and other industry professionals. You will have have exclusive access to our private strengthening and conditioning gym. To be eligible to be part of a Sports Academy, you must:
- Be aged 16-18 (when your course starts)
- Be enrolled on a full-time course at West London College
- (Football Academies must enrol on a Sports & Fitness course. Basketball, Boxing and Futsal Academies can enrol on any subject)
- Attend a trial and pass it. You can register by clicking the links below.
PLEASE NOTE: If there are no trial dates available for an academy, you can still enrol for our Sports courses and you will have the opportunity to join the academy later in the year.

Come along to the Ealing Trailfinders Community Day Masterclass & Skills Workshops, run by their professional players and coaches.
Students that are interested in the West London College Rugby Academy, in partnership with Ealing Trailfinders, can also take part in an on-the-day skills assessment run by the pro players at the Community Day, to fast-track you onto the programme starting in September 2019.
