Employer and Skills Summit

West London College’s Employer & Skills Summit brings together employers, industry leaders, partners, and stakeholders to address current and future skills priorities across the West London economy.

The summit will focus on strengthening employer-led curriculum design, improving talent pipelines, and ensuring training provision aligns with real labour market needs across priority and emerging sectors.

This event will also form part of our celebration of World Youth Skills Day, highlighting the importance of equipping young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to succeed in the modern workforce.

The summit will bring together employers and stakeholders from priority and growth sectors. Each sector will contribute to focused breakout discussions exploring workforce challenges, skills gaps, and future talent needs that will be led by a key individual/company within that sector

The event aims to:

• Strengthen employer influence in curriculum design
• Identify current and future skills gaps across West London
• Improve apprenticeship, T-Level and work placement pathways and engagement
• Develop stronger employer–education partnerships
• Support inclusive economic growth and youth opportunity
• Align training provision with local and regional labour market intelligence
