Our Level 3 Interactive Media students have been working with Ealing Police’s 'Ealing Beat' project to produce posters to help reduce vehicle crime.
As part of their work this year, the students from Ealing Green College have been working with PC Darren Loughnane and tutor Doug Lord to come up with designs that could potentially be used in the borough.
PC Loughnane is looking at the ideas the students presented and hopes to be able to use them to create a unique crime prevention campaign. Some of the students’ work will be used for crime prevention posters and other work being used to produce stickers to go into vehicles, telling potential thieves that there is nothing to steal. You can view all of the designs on the Ealing Police Facebook page.
PC Loughnane was very impressed by the students' work, saying:
"There was some great ideas. It would be fantastic to use either one or two of the ideas to create something that then goes on to be used in the fight against crime."
