West London College scooped the top prize in the finals of the prestigious West London Business Awards 2020 last Friday, 7 February 2020. The winners were announced at the Awards ceremony and black-tie gala dinner as part of National Apprenticeships Week (3-9 February 2020). Held at the home of English rugby, Twickenham Stadium, the host for the evening was Gaby Roslin of TV and radio fame.
West London College won in the ‘Education & Training Provider of the Year’ category, demonstrating excellence in its inclusive learning offer to students with special educational needs and disabilities.
West London College has worked hard with students, their families and local employers to shape the preparation for employment curriculum.
Head of Inclusive Learning at West London College, Sue Jenkins said: “It was amazing to be shortlisted for this award and meet so many other great providers and businesses. Accompanying Will Goold, one of our students, to collect the award was an amazing moment. I am so very proud of him and all of the other students at the college, who are supported by truly inspirational teams.”
