Sharon Charles
Level 2 Certificate in Introduction to Early Years Education & Care

“I have enjoyed my course, it has been very interesting and all the teachers supported me in a great way. I’ve been happy to be a part of Hammersmith & Fulham College and I’m very grateful for the help and support from all my teachers - I just love them all. The best thing about the College is working with the staff and the children on site.  I now hope to get a job working as a childminder or working at a nursery.”

Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel & Tourism

“The course helped me develop my skills in Travel & Tourism and made me realise I was capable of doing things which previously I thought I couldn't do. The best thing about the College was making new friends and attending lessons, as the teachers made me feel comfortable and I was able to ask questions if I wasn't sure of something.

“I enjoyed going to the common room, as I made new friends and enjoyed socialising with different people. I would recommend this College as the staff are friendly and will make sure that you succeed in every aspect of the course. I would like to find employment in the travel & tourism industry, preferably working in Heathrow.”

Nelson Ssenyange
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Public Services

“We’ve had very interesting debates outside the classroom, which helped me to carry the discussions into my coursework. The Student’s Union has also had events that made college fun. I would definitely recommend the Public Services course, as it’s  fun, with loads of activities both indoor and outdoor, not forgetting the great tutors. I will now be joining LSE (London School of Economics) to study Politics and International Relations.”

Stephen McKenzie
Access to Higher Education in Nursing

“I have enjoyed the course, as I feel that it has really equipped me to advance up to the next level of nursing studies. The course has given me a look into the world of nursing and has put my dedication and commitment to the test, which has made me 100% certain that a career in nursing is for me. I also feel that I have improved in confidence and developed the discipline and skills to succeed in my chosen field."

Mohamad Zayat
Level 2 Diploma in ICT

“We had a self study hour a week, where we had the opportunity to get a Microsoft certificate that will improve our CVs. For Maths, the teacher helped us by giving us a lot of resources to study at home, while the College provided us with useful software that we used throughout the year to study and revise for exams. I think the best thing about the College is the support that the staff give to the students. I'm planning on doing an Access to Higher Education course in Computing; my teacher and I talked about it to find the best option for me because I'm 20 and I want to go to university after this. I think the College will help me next year to achieve this goal.”

Sahar Mahmood
Level 3 90 Credit Diploma in Applied Science

“I have really enjoyed studying my course and found it extremely interesting but challenging at the same time. It's helped me develop individually, as I have learnt to be more independent, resilient and patient. The College has helped me with my studying outside the classroom, as they have set workshops that don't run during lessons. Furthermore, there have been trips and programmes, which has expanded my knowledge. The best thing about the College is the opportunities that are given to students, as it allows another approach to the subject that we study. Moreover, it also helps us experience the outside world which will really help in the future. I would recommend this College to someone else, as I feel like there is loads of support available.”

Jenifer Andrea Ospina Garcia
Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy

“I have enjoyed my course a lot and have been able to improve my skills and communicate better with others. I would recommend the course to those who have passion for beauty as the College will give 100% to support them with extra things they need to learn, making sure progression takes place. I’m studying the next level of beauty at the College, as I will feel very comfortable in the atmosphere.”

Tasnim Rahman
Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education

“I thoroughly enjoyed the Level 2 Childcare course at West London College so much so that I chose to progress onto the Level 3. I started with the basics and found that the course provided an excellent introduction to childcare, and has helped me to develop skills for employment. The College has also assisted in improving my English through the excellent library facilities that are available.

“I would recommend the College due to the excellent teaching and the support from the staff. I am planning to go onto university in the future after I complete my course and develop my knowledge in childcare. It has been a dream come true to be able to gain the skills and knowledge for a career in early years education.”
