Our students' entries in the Children & the Arts competition run in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation are now on display at Hammersmith & Fulham College
Late last year students between the age of 11 and 18 at school in Essex or Greater London were invited to take part in Children & the Arts' Secondary School Art Prize in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation.
The young artists were given the theme of 'Perspective' with a maximum size of A3 - the rest was up to them. The competition will be judged by a wide array of creative people, including Children & the Arts ambassadors Ronni Ancona, Neil Buchanan, Amanda Holden and Eleanor Updale.
As well as the competition awards, the College is giving out prizes to two of our young artists. Current staff and students can vote on which piece they best think captures the theme via Moodle and the staff portal, or in person at Hammersmith & Fulham College.
Ten of our students took part and each had a very different take on 'Perspective'. Here are their entries:
Fathima Sahra - Southall Community College
Lazar Kacarevic - Southall Community College
Miriam Likalu - Hammersmith & Fulham College
Vikram Singh - Southall Community College
