Public Services students at Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College have been provided with a sample bulletproof vest from SafeGuard clothing – a leading international manufacturer and distributor of body armour.
The vest was donated in order to offer all Public Services students the opportunity to work with the latest bullet proof equipment on the professional market as they study the practical aspects of their course. First hand experience of using this police, military and security level professional equipment offers students vital experience with protective clothing that they can take into their careers upon completing their course.
Course Tutor Martin Thomas said, “Donations like this are incredibly generous and allow our students to gain real experience with top of the range bullet proof vests before they graduate. Essential they are helping to put our students ahead of competitors with their experience.”
SafeGuard have operated internationally for over 10 years, providing over 5000 bespoke bulletproof vests to hundreds of police, security and military companies across the globe every year.
Thomas Bowman of SafeGuard clothing said, “We are proud to be able to donate some of our high quality bullet proof vests to universities and colleges across the UK. We want students to gain hands on experience with the world’s best protective clothing.”
We are recruiting for Public Services courses now for a September start.
