West London’s College is now on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) in the Main Provider category.
From 1 May this year, training providers who offer apprenticeships under the Apprenticeship Levy will have to be listed on the RoATP. For employers and prospective apprentices, the RoATP provides peace of mind that they are using an education provider that has had their due diligence, capability, quality and financial health assessed and approved by the Government’s Skills Funding Agency.
Only organisations who are found to be able to deliver high-quality apprenticeship training are included on the RoATP and they will be the only training providers allowed to deliver apprenticeships under the Apprenticeship Levy.
As a Main Provider, the College will be able to:
- Deliver apprenticeship training to employers that will pay the apprenticeship levy for any apprenticeships that start on or after 1 May 2017
- Deliver apprenticeship training to our own apprentices or apprentices of our connected companies for any apprenticeships that start on or after 1 May 2017
Deliver apprenticeship training as a subcontractor for any apprenticeships that start on or after 1 May 2017
Our listing on the RoATP follows the recent new that our information, advice and guidance now has full cross-college matrix accreditation meaning any advice you get from us will have your best interests at heart.
