Trailfinders

Tuesday 12 June 2018

West London College is delighted to announce the launch of a new Rugby Academy delivered in partnership with Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club. This will be the only professional rugby club academy linked with an educational programme in London, offering students aged 16-19 an opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications whilst playing rugby.

The Rugby Academy will combine full-time training in a professional environment at Ealing Trailfinders with academic or vocational studies based at West London College. On completion of the scholarship the students will gain a nationally recognised qualification, which allows them to progress onto university or into employment. There will also be the chance to get a professional rugby contract at Ealing Trailfinders in the Senior Academy.

There will be an open evening at Vallis Way on Thursday 5th July at 7pm where we will be on hand to answer any questions regarding the new programme. Please sign up here.

Ealing Trailfinders was formed in 1871 and competes in the Greene King IPA Championship, where they placed a comfortable second last season.

West London College also offers Basketball, Boxing, Men’s Football, Women’s Football and Futsal Academies. For more information about the Sports Academy programmes at West London College and to sign up for trials, please visit wlc.ac.uk/sportsacademy
