On Friday 23 and Saturday 24 of November, West London College joined over 240 education, training and employment providers at Skills London 2018.

The event organised by London First and delivered with Prospects Events is an opportunity to discover a range of career paths, traineeships, apprenticeships and higher education opportunities.

West London College had a prominent presence at the event with four stands offering careers information, advice and guidance and interactive demonstrations where staff and students showed off their skills in Building & Construction, Hospitality & Catering and Hair & Beauty to potential students and their parents.

Anna Strzalek, Marketing Officer said:

“Every year Skills London is so inspiring to attend as an exhibitor. It's a great opportunity to speak to students about their futures and help parents understand the options available after GCSEs and beyond.

“It was great to see visiting students and parents taking part in our have-a-go activities at our three Get Skilled stands.”

Skills London is the UK’s biggest jobs and careers event for 15-24-year-olds and their families. This two-day event at the ExCel London provides visitors with the opportunity to discover careers through interactive, inspirational activities and demonstrations, and helps people visually bridge the gap between what they enjoy doing and what they could potentially do as a career.
