Saad Siddiqui joined the Corporation in December 2020 and he is a seasoned chartered accountant (ACA and FCCA) with over 17 years of strong and proven track record of working with many of the region’s largest government, public and private sector organisations, including US, UK and European listed companies, Fortune 500 corporates, FTSE 100, global and multinational organisations and financially distressed UK government entities, including the NHS Trusts.

Saad has a successful and demonstrable track record of operating in various leadership and senior management roles and successfully establishing and deriving organisational strategy and direction working closely with the Boards, C-Suite Executives and with the senior internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors and third-party service providers.

His wide-ranging experience working with the UK government entities involves leading and delivering a variety of large-scale and complex turnaround programmes to help strengthen the financial governance and corporate risk management structures, assessing and improving financial performance and strengthening financial processes and financial reporting controls to support cash flow, working capital and corporate-wide cost improvements. Saad has also supported these organisations in improving the Board Assurance Frameworks, improving assurance flows across the organisation, defining responsibilities for the Board and its committees, setting-up accountabilities framework for the executive leadership and strengthening the corporate and risk reporting frameworks.  Also, as an independent performance observer, Saad has attended numerous Board and Finance, Investment, Audit & Risk Committee sessions to assess and evaluate the conduct of the Board and its key committees to deliver effective oversight and leadership and provided recommendations to improve, where needed.

He is currently serving as Group CFO at Mumzworld.com, UAE largest E-Commerce business in Mother, Baby and Child products category. Prior to this, Saad worked as the Head of Financial Control at Spirent Communications Plc, a global Tech & Telecom Group having a premium public listing status at the London Stock Exchange (LSE), as Associate Director with Deloitte UK and as Senior Manager with EY in their Internal Audit, Risk Assurance & Controls Transformation businesses.
