If you have a young person that has already applied for a course, they should have received details about coming into enrol.

If they haven’t applied for a course, it’s not too late! Come along to one of our enrolment sessions and our expert staff will help them into a course that suits them.

What to Bring

Check with your young person before they come to enrollment, and make sure they have:

  • Any letters or documents from us that relate to their application
  • Their National Insurance Number as well as any two of the following:
    • UK/EU students: A passport, driver's licence, birth certificate or EU ID Card
    • International students:  A UK Residence Permit, non-EU passport showing a valid visa, or a letter from the Home Office or your solicitor.
  • Exam results and original copies of previous qualifications/certificates.
  • Art & Design applicants
Please have your young person bring an extensive portfolio of their previous work, which should ideally include a variety of styles and techniques (observational, abstract, graphic design 2D and 3D etc) and use of different media (i.e. painting, drawing, digital and 3D pieces).
  • Creative Media applicants
If possible, bring a portfolio of their previous work (video, photography, animations, scripts & storyboards, print and digital materials, examples of continuous writing etc) Work can be demonstrated via YouTube or other links if appropriate.

In general, home students up to the age of 19 do not need to pay for courses. However, certain courses have resources fees which will need to be paid on the day. Check your enrolment letter for more information, or contact our LIS team.
