If you are aged 19 or over, have an interest in working in the travel industry, but have no computer reservation experience or would like to learn a new system. This course concentrates on the GALILEO airline reservation system, but it would also help you if you were to apply for employment with a company which used another system. Many of the UK's largest agencies use the Galileo system.
You will need good keyboard skills and a good understanding of English.
This course is assessed through an end of course exam, where the skills and knowledge you have learnt would be tested. On completion you will be issued with a college certificate.
The exam is based on your ability to accurately complete bookings/make amendments etc.
You could work for an airline, travel agency or tour operator. Alternatively you may wish to enrol onto our L1 Pathway to Travel course or if you have the relevant entry requirements our L2 Cabin Crew or L2 AIRTAC course.
You will be taught by a qualified teacher with previous experience of computerised reservation systems. You will be based in a dedicated IT classroom so you can get hands on experience. You will be given realistic scenarios and exercises to work on both in class and at home.
