I have enjoyed the course, as I feel that it has really equipped me to advance up to the next level of nursing studies. The course has given me a look into the world of nursing and has put my dedication and commitment to the test, which has made me 100% certain that a career in nursing is for me. I also feel that I have improved in confidence and developed the discipline and skills to succeed in my chosen field.
The College has a fantastic support structure which never allows you to feel alone or abandoned. There is always an answer to any problem you have, whether it is academic or related to your personal circumstances. I felt listened to and as an adult student I felt that they treated me as such. Most importantly of all is that being a part of the College gives you a good sense of pride and prestige, which gives you the confidence that as long as you put the effort and time in, you will succeed. My plan is to go to Middlesex University to study a BSc (Hons.) in Mental Health, which will take me to my goal of being a mental health nurse. After finishing the three years of university I would like to specialise with mental health patients within the prison system, as I feel that there is much work to be done within that sector.
