Understanding Adverse Childhood Experience Level 2
Children and young people are amongst the most vulnerable in our society when it comes to the impact of adverse circumstances on their lives. Adverse childhood experience can have impacts on the development and mental health of children and young people that may persist into adulthood and affect their life chances. These might be personal circumstances such as the death or divorce of parents or domestic violence, for example, or national and international disasters.
You will need to be:
- aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you wish to study
- be eligible to study in the UK, with 'in-date' evidence that shows that you will be resident in the UK for the duration of the course and not currently studying an apprenticeship programme
- be resident in Greater London
You will also need access to a computer (laptop or desktop), and a stable internet connection, to access our interactive online learning platform.
You will complete an online portfolio of evidence which will include written tasks and essay style questions.
