Meeting Stakeholder Needs

Meeting Stakeholder Needs

West London College has a strong focus on meeting skills needs both locally, sub-regionally, and regionally across London and beyond.

We engage with a variety of stakeholders, including community groups, civic bodies, education providers and employers, on areas such as:

  • curriculum design and planning
  • direct employment links and support
  • work experience and industrial placements

We have aligned our provision to key Skills Improvement Plans developed by the devolved authority, sub-regional partnership and local authorities.

Business

Our Strategies

Each of our curriculum areas regularly self-assesses how well they meet stakeholder needs against a scorecard of 13 criteria. This identifies whether their work is Emerging, Established, Embedded or Excellent. Based on this evaluation, each area has developed an Action Plan on how they will progress to the next level within a defined timescale.
