EFL Summer Schools

EFL Summer Schools

At West London College, we have been running highly successful English Language Summer Schools for over 30 years for students who want to improve their English and learn about life in London, one of the world’s most exciting cities.

We have a Junior Summer School, where we welcome students aged 12 to 17 from all around the world to practise their English this summer, meet new friends from all over the world and feel more confident when speaking. We partner with West London English School, a private British Council-accredited language school, to deliver this summer school.

For those aged 16 and older, we also offer an Adult Summer School for those who wish to improve their English language skills for personal, social, professional or academic purposes.

Our teachers are all highly experienced and qualified in teaching English as a foreign language. All lesson materials will be provided by the teacher for the class and for extra practice.

Junior Summer School

Our current Junior Summer School is suitable for those aged 12-17 and runs from 1 July 2024 to 23 August 2024 (8 weeks), Monday to Friday with lessons from 9am to 12pm BST. There are optional social activities for the afternoon and an additional Saturday excursion available.

The Junior Summer School costs £150 per week and takes place at our Ealing Green College.

Optional Afternoon Social Activities
Option 1 – Social Programme
Option 2 – Dance or Drama
Option 3 – Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths
An additional £80 per week

Adult Summer School

Our current Adult Summer School is suitable for those aged 16 and older and runs from 1 July 2024 to 23 August 2024, in both full-time and part-time options.

The Adult Summer School has different fees, whether or not you are a Home or International Student – for more details, please download the Application Forms below – and takes place at our Ealing Green College.

Afternoon Social Programme
The social programme offers the perfect opportunity to explore London and visit many of its sights. Join other students and spend the afternoon with one of the teachers, practising your language and visiting places of interest.

There are many iconic locations to see, such as Westminster, Buckingham Palace, Greenwich, Camden Town, and Covent Garden. You can visit some of London’s beautiful green spaces – Hyde Park, Regent’s Park, Richmond, Kew Gardens, and St. James’ Park. London also has many fascinating museums and galleries, including the British Museum, Tate Modern, Museum of London, and the National Gallery.

Most of the trips are free to join – you just need your Oyster Card – some trips need to be booked in advance, due to limited places and availability of tickets.
