EFL Summer Schools

EFL Summer Schools

At West London College, we have been running highly successful English Language Summer Schools for over 30 years for students who want to improve their English and learn about life in London, one of the world’s most exciting cities.

We have a Junior Summer School, where we welcome students aged 12 to 17 from all around the world to practise their English this summer, meet new friends from all over the world and feel more confident when speaking. We partner with West London English School, a private British Council-accredited language school, to deliver this summer school.

For those aged 16 and older, we also offer an Adult Summer School for those who wish to improve their English language skills for personal, social, professional or academic purposes.

Our teachers are all highly experienced and qualified in teaching English as a foreign language. All lesson materials will be provided by the teacher for the class and for extra practice.

Afternoon Social Programme
The social programme offers the perfect opportunity to explore London and visit many of its sights. Join other students and spend the afternoon with one of the teachers, practising your language and visiting places of interest.

There are many iconic locations to see, such as Westminster, Buckingham Palace, Greenwich, Camden Town, and Covent Garden. You can visit some of London’s beautiful green spaces – Hyde Park, Regent’s Park, Richmond, Kew Gardens, and St. James’ Park. London also has many fascinating museums and galleries, including the British Museum, Tate Modern, Museum of London, and the National Gallery.

Most of the trips are free to join – you just need your Oyster Card – some trips need to be booked in advance, due to limited places and availability of tickets.

Saturday Social Programme
Saturdays give the chance to visit famous places outside of London, including Oxford, Cambridge and Brighton.
