Introduction to Neuroscience in Early Years - Level 2

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This course aims to provide an introduction to the early development of the brain in babies and young children from birth to 7 years of age. Around 90% of brain growth occurs before the age of three. Self-regulation in the early years is a critical set of skills that help children to remain calm, attentive, and able to deal with their emotions.

The course introduces you to the neuroscience that can help early years practitioners to improve the development, health, behaviour and outcomes of the babies and children they work with.
