ABOUT THIS COURSE

Information, Advice & Guidance Level 2

This qualification is suitable for learners aged 19 and above. There are no specific prior qualifications needed to access this qualification. This qualification is suitable for anyone who wants to gain a more in-depth understanding of the roles of information, advice and guidance workers. It does not confer competence in these roles. It will support progression to further training such as broader competence based or industry specific information, advice or guidance qualifications required to work in the sector.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

You will need to be:. 
 - aged 19 (as of 31 August in the year before you want to start the course)
 - an EU/UK/EEA citizen (and have residency for at least 3 years)

You must not be enrolled on an apprenticeship when you start the course.

ASSESSMENT METHOD

You will complete a series of assessments within a set time-frame which will be marked by a qualified assessor these will produce the relevant evidence to meet the requirements for the awarding body. On successful completion you will be awarded a nationally recognised level 2 qualification.

As this course is undertaken by distance learning, there is no need to attend the college and you can study at a time that suits you. You will receive a set of comprehensive learning materials on your subject, and have access to a knowledgeable tutor and assessor who will support you throughout the programme.
