Understanding the Care & Management of Diabetes - Level 2
This qualification will help you get into, or progress within, employment in the healthcare or social care sectors in a variety of job roles where an understanding of the care and management of diabetes is required. You can also take this qualification to support your progression into further learning within the Health and Social Care sector.
You will need to be:.
- aged 19 (as of 31 August in the year before you want to start the course)
- an EU/UK/EEA citizen (and have residency for at least 3 years)
You must not be enrolled on an apprenticeship when you start the course.
You will complete a series of assessments within a set time-frame which will be marked by a qualified assessor these will produce the relevant evidence to meet the requirements for the awarding body. On successful completion you will be awarded a nationally recognised level 2 qualification.
Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England
Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills
Level 3 Certificate in Working with Individuals with Diabetes
Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services
Level 3 Certificate in Working in the Health Sector
As this course is undertaken by distance learning, there is no need to attend the college and you can study at a time that suits you. You will receive a set of comprehensive learning materials on your subject, and have access to a knowledgeable tutor and assessor who will support you throughout the programme.
